About Us

Gemini Pets has been created by an animal lover, for animal lovers!

Owner, Verity, always dreamt of working with animals and at 21 she became a Kennel Manager, developing her skills in training, handling and rehabilitating dogs.

After completing several courses in animal care, dog grooming and canine psychology Verity set up Gemini Pets in 2016. 

As well as starting a new business she also studied for her BSc in Canine Behaviour Management, graduating in 2019. 

Since then she has attended numerous training days and regularly completes CPD to ensure that she can offer the best to her clients. Gemini Pets is still growing and now has over two hundred clients on its books. Verity's animal experience has developed into other species including cats and reptiles.

Believing that rescue and rehabilitation are as important as welcoming healthy happy animal babies into the world, Verity works hard in all aspects of animal care and is passionate about helping pets to live their best lives.

 Outside of work, animals are, of course, a huge part of Verity's life and she and her partner share their home with two dogs, six cats, four snakes, a tortoise, a chameleon and two turtles. She also regularly competes in Canicross races with her Spaniel, Lola.
